Biography
Ursula von Rydingsvard was born in Germany in 1942. Until the age of 8, she comes and goes from a refugees camp to another along with her family. In 1950, the familly settles in Plainville, Connecticut. She passes a Master of Fine Arts degree in the Columbia University in 1975. In 2000, she receives the second prize for the best exhibition in a gallery, awarded by the International Art Critique Association. In 1984, she receives the Guggenheim fellowship.
